NexusOps
Operations management for Civil Air Patrol wings
NexusOps is a private, access-controlled operations-management application for Civil Air Patrol (CAP) wings and their members. It brings a wing's emergency-services and administrative workflows into one place so members and staff can plan, coordinate, run, and document operations. It is not a public service — access is limited to CAP members and individuals a wing administrator explicitly invites.
What NexusOps does
- Mission management — organize search-and-rescue and other emergency-services missions, operational periods, crews, tasking, and member alerting.
- Duty officer coordination — run the wing's mission alert & operations (WMAO) duty roster, shift reminders, incoming-call handling, and incident-commander alerts.
- Member qualifications & roster — search the wing roster and view members' ratings, specialty qualifications, and duty positions (synced read-only from CAP's official systems).
- Flight operations — takeoff-and-landing (TOLD) and weight & balance planning, and aircraft status tracking.
- Forms & reimbursement — prepare and file operational paperwork such as CAP Form 14 fuel-reimbursement submissions.
- Safety — a mishap-reporting path for members.
Who it's for
NexusOps is used by CAP wing members, emergency-services personnel, and wing staff. Members sign in with their CAP member ID and password, a passkey, or "Sign in with Google," and see only the features their role and unit allow.
Privacy & your data
NexusOps imports member records from CAP's official systems (CAPWATCH / eServices) and stores the operational data members create while using it. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. If you choose "Sign in with Google," we use only your verified email, name, and profile picture to identify you and match you to your CAP member or invited-guest record. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for details.
